Modest Mouse were an indie rock band from Issaquah, Washington, formed in 1992. Led by the idiosyncratic Isaac Brock, they evolved from lo-fi, angular indie rock to mainstream success with The Moon & Antarctica (2000) and Good News for People Who Love Bad News (2004), which featured the hit "Float On."
