Gin Blossoms were an alternative rock band from Tempe, Arizona, formed in 1987. Their 1992 album New Miserable Experience, featuring hits "Hey Jealousy" and "Found Out About You," was a multi-platinum success. The band was marked by the tragic story of founding guitarist Doug Hopkins, who was fired from the band and took his own life in 1993.
