Archers of Loaf were an indie rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, formed in 1991. Led by guitarist/vocalist Eric Bachmann, they were a key band in the 1990s indie rock scene. Their debut Icky Mettle (1993) is considered a classic of the era.
